Bike Program During the RNC
Freewheelin Bike Sharing Experience
Through a unique partnership between Humana, a Fortune 100 health benefits company, and Bikes Belong, a nonprofit biking advocacy group, the Freewheelin bike sharing experience will be in the Twin Cities during the Republican National Convention. The Twin Cities will be outfitted with 1,000 bikes for free use during the convention week.
The bikes will be available free of charge to any interested adult, 18 years old or older, and registration is required. Please visit their website at www.freewheelinwaytogo.com.
Bikes will be located near the heart of the convention activity and the major hotel centers. There will be about eight different stations of bikes and all of them will be staffed with volunteers to guide you through the process. To view a map of the locations, click here. Bike stations will be open at 7 am and most of the stations will close at 7 pm, but some of their bigger stations may stay open later if there are big events in the evening hours. They'll post the hours of each station on-site.
