We Need Your Help to Cross The Finish Line

First of all I want to thank everyone for your patience. I know it's taken much longer than we had anticipated, but unfortunately that's the name of the game when you're trying to (re)open a business in this kind of economy.

We are almost open, and I hate to name a time or a date because something seems to always come up whenever I do, but let me say this, I am downright determined to get open in time to decorate Halloween sugar cut-outs and frost Pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting.

What has been taking so long? Besides the general nature of dealing with getting the space up to code and contractors, the major hang-up has been that we do in fact need a hood, and while I am a creative gal that usually can come up with creative solutions, this is what is holding us back. At this point we cannot get financing to pay for it so we will need to earn the money to pay for it through presales and sales from the Cafe end once we open. If we can generate $7,500 we will be able to get a hood installed so we can bake on site.

So where do you come in?

We need you to spread the word that YES! we are in fact going to reopen, and we need your to help to do that. That's why we are still here, this far into it. A business started from scratch with no capital and just a few micro loans from a friend and family members along the way, you have helped us get this far, so you all should pat yourselves on the back because you helped make this happen!
